A $6.1m forest planting materials breeding center is to be built in the Republic of Tatarstan, regional officials report.
The project is reportedly carried out by the federal forestry agency Rosleskhoz and the regional authorities.
The center, located in Sabinsky district, the center is aimed at increase of seed quality and creation of planting material with improved hereditary features.
Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2010.
