Ulyanovsk region expects $27m budget loan to fight drought
Authorities in Ulyanovsk region have submitted a request to the federal government for a $26.85m budget loan to support agricultural goods producers that have suffered from the drought, regional officials report.

Earlier the regional authorities allocated $3.3m from the regional budget to redeem losses, caused by hot weather (see Marchmont news of July 9, 2010).
