Ravil Muratov was born on August 30, 1949 at “Tyurnyasevsky” sovkhoz of the Oktyabrsky District, Tatar ASSR. Education In 1980 graduated from All-union Correspondence Institute of Soviet Trade, speciality “trade economics”. 1964 – 1965 – Forwarder at the Mamykovo cooperative society of the Oktyabrsky regional consumers’ society, Oktyabrsky District, TASSR. 1966 – 1967 – Fitter at specialized department ¹7, “Tatenergostroy” trust, Nizhnekamsk. 1967 – 1968 – Fitter at specialized department “Tsentrometstroy”, “Promstroy” trust, Lipetsk. 1968 – 1970 – serving in the Soviet Army. 1970 – 1972 – Shift Technologist at the Tyurnyasevsky distillery, Oktyabrsky District, TASSR. 1972 – 1974 – Fitter and Joiner at Voronezhsky sector of the All-union Scientific and Restoration Production Complex, Moscow. 1974 – 1976 – Director of the Mamykovo retail commercial establishment, Oktyabrsky District, TASSR. 1976 – 1979 – Deputy Chairman of the board of the Oktyabrsky regional consumers’ society, Nurlat, TASSR. 1979 – 1983 – Chairman of the Board of the Chistopolsky regional consumers’ society, Chistopol, TASSR. 1983 – 1987 – Deputy Cairman of the Board of the consumers’ society of Tatarstan, Kazan. 1987 – 1989 – Minister of Trade of the Tatar ASSR. 1989 – 1991 – Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the TSSR. 1991 – 1995 – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. From 1995 – First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. Doctor of economic sciences.
