Business experience: The Russian Venture Company From February 2010 – till present. Head of the division responsible for networking/relationship development with the Government institutions (GR) ELSEVIER B.V., Amsterdam, The Netherlands (part of Reed Elsevier) From January 2006 – till February 2010 Regional Director Russia within EMEA Sales & Marketing department of the international publishing house Reed Elsevier based in Moscow From November 2002 – Account Manager (marketing & sales) for Russia and CIS of the publishing house Reed Elsevier based in Moscow The Russian Development Bank, Moscow 2001-2002 – Head of the market analysis service with the aim to supply the customers of the bank as well as the Department of the treasury with market research & analysis information on a daily basis, as well as risks analysis of the correspondent banks. The Russian Government office, Moscow 2000-2001- Deputy director of the Financial department with a wide range of responsibilities related to supervision of the Russian ministry of finance and the Russian ministry of taxation The Russian ministry for finance, Moscow 1998-2000 – Deputy director of the economic policy and banking supervision department: broad range of duties related to macroeconomic support of the federal budget development as well as the reform of the Russian banking system (participation in the laws preparation and discussions at the Russian Parliament in cooperation with the Central Bank of Russia as well as with the IMF’ and World bank’ experts during this process). The Export-Import bank of Russia, Moscow 1994-1998 Deputy director of the economic Department responsible for the activity planning and business development, as well as for establishing contacts to the representatives of the IFC, The World Bank as well as the International Union of Credit and Investment insurers („The Berne Union“) and various national Export credit and insurance agencies (US Exim, HERMES, COFACE, NCM). Later head of the correspondent banking Division of the bank. The Russian ministry for finance, Moscow 1990-1994 Since my first job as hard currency specialist at the ministry I have been promoted several times and finally reached the position of deputy head of the Department „External loans and debts of the Russian Federation”, where I dealt mainly with issues of rescheduling the external debts of the USSR and Russia to the Paris and London creditor clubs in bilateral and multilateral negotiations.
