22 May '09
A passenger and cargo ferry line will open on June 29 to connect Vladivostok with S. Koreas Donghee and Japans Sakaiminato, officials from Donghee and Russias Nakhodka in Primorsky Region announced today.

A ship to service the line will reportedly be able to transport 500 passengers, 70 vehicles and 130 containers at a time.

Primorsky regional authorities believe the ferry line will be a competitive alternative to flights to Japan.
