Russian Rail’s $221m Perm infrastructure plans posted

National rail operator Russian Railways will invest $221m in rail infrastructure in Perm Region, the company said today.

Under plans, $147.5m is to be spent on ongoing construction of a 53-kilometer bypass railroad between Solikamsk and Berezniki.

The funds are also to be used on railroad overhaul at various tracks within the region.
