Officials in Ulyanovsk today said they planned to showcase projects worth in total $181.1m at the upcoming 7 th International Investment Forum in Sochi.

A spokesman said the emphasis in the projects to be presented would be on the region's transport and logistics potential, particularly regarding ari cargo.

Earlier this year Marchmont reported that RF Government had made a decision to set up a special economic zone (SEZ) on the premises of Ulyanovsk airport.

The airport is capable of servicing all kinds of cargo aircraft as well as space shuttles. SEZ resident companies will receive tax incentives and will enjoy low renting fees.
