Nizhny Novgorod-based auto giant GAZ Group has won two tenders to supply 73 passenger buses worth a total of $12.5m to St.Petersburg and Omsk, the company has reported.

Under the tender requirements 23 buses are to be shipped to St. Petersburg’s public transportation company Passazhiravtotrans.

Other 50 buses have been purchased by the Omsk government and are to be put into service in early August.

All the LiAZ buses are equipped with ramps, call buttons, and special seats for wheelchair users.
