The federal Civil Airports Administration has announced an open tender for a contract to build a helicopter aerodrome on the Russky Island in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, before the APEC-2012 Summit.
The maximum contract price is reportedly set at $7.5m.
Under the project, the heliport is to have a take-off runway, apron, waiting sites, access roads, speedways, reinforces wayside lines. The winner will also have to cut down about 4,700 trees to prepare the construction site.
Construction is scheduled to last between 150 and 200 days.
The bids envelopes are to be opened on June 6, and the winner is to be announced on June 10, 2011.
