State corporation Avtodor has announced an open tender for a $695m contract to carry out reconstruction of a part of M-4 Don federal highway within Voronezh region territory, regional officials report.

Under the contract, the winner-company is to overhaul highway sector between the 492th and 517th kilometer, including bypass road around Voronezh,

The tender results are to be announced in May. Reconstruction is scheduled to start in June 2011 and be completed by fall of 2013.

Under plans, Avtodor is to introduce toll on the bypass road around Voronezh for all except for Voronezh region residents.
