Russian Railways to launch aeroexpress train from Vladivostok to airport

National rail operator Russian Railways intends to build a speed railways from Vladivostok to Knevichi airport in Primorsky street, regional officials report.

Investment in the project has yet to be disclosed.

Under plans, aeroexpress train is to go from Vladivostok to the airports passenger terminal with a short stop in the town of Artyom in 48 minutes.

Construction of a 50-kilometer line is to start in early 2011, with the first train to go to the airport in early 2012.
