Krasnoyarsk branch of Russian Railways gets $2.2m fine

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has imposed a $2.2m fine on Krasnoyarsk branch of the national rail operator Russian Railways for violation of anti-trust laws, FAS reports.

The Russian Railways has reportedly violated its dominating position at transportation markets while organizing supply of coal to several facilities, owned by Yenisey TGC (TGC-13) power generating company.

Specifically, Yenisey TGC complained, that the Russian Railways has increased a number of cargo trains, supplying coal, so that the energy company couldnt unload the trains in time and couldnt take any other cargos.
