Ust-Luga traffic rose to 8.2 billion tons

Traffic at the port of Ust-Luga in Leningrad Region rose to 8.2 billion tons between January and October, a source at the St. Petersburg sea port said today.

It is a reported 44% year-on-year increase.

According to the source, it was the launch of two new loading terminals, sulfur and universal, reinforced by better performance of the coal terminal and more ferry shipping that contributed to the rise.
