Avaiexpress take-off worth $300m?

Volgograd airlines company Volga-Avaiexpress has announced an aircraft fleet modernization program that could top $300m

Investment hasn't been announced but is estimated by experts at up to $300m.

The company has reportedly purchased two Canadian Regional Jet-200 (CRJ) and is about to buy another three jets. Under the program, the company plans to have up to 20 such jets in the future.

Each jet costs around $15m, experts say.
