Taganrog Aircraft Company Beriev launches $2.3m airport

Taganrog Aircraft Company Beriev has set up a certified Taganrog – Yuzhny airport at the base of its aerodrome, the company reports.

The company has reportedly invested $2.3m in the project.

The airport is reportedly to service two charter flights to Moscow per week on Yak-40 aircraft.

The airport’s 2,800-meter runway is able to accept almost all types of aircrafts.
