Sberbank’s Murmansk logistics inked

2 Nov '09
The North-West office of Sberbank will invest in the prospective Murmansk all-year-round sea hub, the bank said earlier today following the inking of a cooperation agreement with the Murmansk Transportation Hub management company.

Under plans, between 2010 and 2015 the bank is expected to co-finance the creation of a local container, and bulk-oil, coal- and mineral fertilizer-handling center as part of the North-South international transportation corridor.

How much Sberbank plans to fork over has yet to be announced.
