Construction of a new sea port in Russia’s Far East in proximity to the construction site of the Primorsky oil refinery will kick off in 2010, RF Minister of Transport Igor Levitin said today.
The new port is to ensure shipments of oil refinery products, the minister said.
According to RIA Novosti, oil company Rosneft plans to build the refinery with the capacity of 20 million tons a year on the Pacific coast. The project’s estimated worth is reportedly $5-7bn.
