Kvan commissions $30m ski resort outside Kaluga

Developer Kvan has completed the first stage of a $30m ski resort in Kaluga Region, Interfax reported today.

The complex is located near the region's village of Kvan by the Oka River.

So far, a 78-room hotel, restaurant, bar, pool tables salon, renting facility, swimming pool, sauna and a 400-meter ski slope, worth a total of $12m, have been built, the agency said.

Under plans, the company is to build another ski slope, a second hotel and other facilities.
