MTS to buy Bashkiria’s Ufanet for “$170-$180m”

Mobile operator MTS intends to purchase Bashkiria’s telecom Ufanet, Kommersant reports.
In the fall of 2010 Megafon wanted to buy Ufanet but in the last moment changed decision because of the price of $170-$180m.
According to Kommersant, current price for Ufanet stayed about the same.
The deal has reportedly been approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). Its finalization date has yet to be disclosed.
Ufanet is the operator of cable TV and Internet access in Bashkiria and Orenburg region.
