Mobile operator Vympelcom, working under Beeline brand, intends to buy out Far Eastís New Telephone Company (NTC), operating in Primorsky region, for $500m, Kommersant reports.
The seller is a Korean telecom KT Corp, the newspaper said.
The deal has reportedly been approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
According to Kommersant, earlier Vympelcomís main competitors Ė MTS and Megafon Ė expressed interest in buying NTC.
