Tatarstan’s nano-program cost set at $3bn

Tatarstan authorities estimate the cost of a 2009-2013 regional nanosector development program to be around $3bn.

Under an agreement between Tatarstan and Russia’s Rusnano state corporation, the program reportedly stipulates ongoing identification of promising nanoprojects at the region’s leading universities and companies.
