Concern Radioelectronic Technologies (KRET) of Rostec State Corporation has developed a servo drive for controlling unmanned aerial vehicles. The device surpasses foreign models in characteristics and can be used, among other things, for promising helicopter and aircraft-type UAVs, the press service of Rostec reports.
Electromechanical steering gear SP-50-60 is designed to transmit control action to aerodynamic surfaces or other mechanisms of unmanned aerial vehicles. One of the advantages of the device is increased positioning accuracy, energy efficiency and a record operating temperature range from –60 to +55 degrees Celsius.
“The equipment can be installed on unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft and helicopter types. At the moment, KRET is completing tests and plans to start serial production in 2022, ”said Oleg Yevtushenko, executive director of the State Corporation Rostec.
