The Moscow Healthcare Department now has a diagnostic robot that can measure blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation. This was announced to RIA Novosti by Oleg Kivokurtsev, co-founder and director of the largest European manufacturer of service robots, a resident of the Skolkovo IT cluster Promobot.

“The robotic diagnostician Archimedes communicates with the guests, tells how to get to the right office, reminds them of the need to wear a mask and gloves and maintain social distance. In addition, it measures basic health indicators - body temperature, blood pressure and pulse, blood oxygen saturation, blood sugar and lung capacity,” he said.

At the end of 2020 Promobot presented a new generation of humanoid companion robots, which were hired by the MFC Moscow.

“We strive to create a new service in Russia and in the world. People are accustomed to the fact that government agencies are something inconvenient, conservative and not client-oriented. Our robots turn these ideas upside down - it is always interesting to communicate with them, they are not rude and they do not need a lunch break,” Kivokurtsev noted.

The company's robots operate in 40 countries world and serve as promoters, administrators, diagnosticians, concierges and guides, replacing and supplementing live employees. Promobots can be found at Sberbank, the largest shopping center on the planet - Dubai Mall, at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Istanbul, at the Walmart store in Chile, the Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, Moscow and Perm MFC and other places.
