Russian terminals for measuring temperature will be delivered to the Middle East

9 Jul '20
Skolkovo resident will supply 200 terminals for non-contact temperature measurement Promobot Thermocontrol in the Middle East. The first 10 devices have already been shipped to the UAE, the founder of the Perm company Oleg Kivokurtsev told Sk.ru.

Deliveries are made through Robot DXB's partner in Promobot in the United Arab Emirates. Stations will be introduced at social infrastructure facilities, at railway stations, airports, bus stations, metro stations, clinics, shopping centers and educational institutions.

In June, Promobot began supplying a batch of 400 such terminals in the United States. Promobot Thermocontrol already operates in Germany and Greece. The terminals have also been installed at a number of Russian enterprises - including the production of mineral fertilizers of URALCHEM, at the NOVATEK scientific center in Tyumen.

Standalone Promobot Thermocontrol terminals measure temperature in just 5 seconds at a distance of up to 25 cm. The measurement accuracy is 0.2 degrees. The average throughput of the terminals is more than 500 people per hour. The station consists of a non-contact thermometer mounted on a movable module, a camera for detecting faces, a display and a speaker for information and a metal base.

In the Middle East, Promobot has a competitive advantage: robots manufactured for this region speak Arabic. Following the UAE, Promobot Thermocontrol is planned to be delivered to Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
The Arab market for our company has always been very promising, says Oleg Kivokurtsev - Our robots work in the largest shopping center Dubai Mall, in the police of Abu Dhabi, the National Bank of Oman, clinics in Kuwait and schools in Saudi Arabia. In the context of the spread of coronavirus, solutions in the field of temperature measurement have become especially relevant.
