Rusnano to invest $30m in lithium-ion batteries plant in Novosibirsk

State corporation Rusnano has announced plans to invest $30m in construction of a plant to produce lithium-ion batteries in Novosibirsk.

The project was reportedly initiated by Chinese Thunder Sky, in cooperation with nuclear fuel producer TVEL and Novosibirsk plant of chemical concentrates NZKhK.

Under plans, production is to be located at premises of NZKhK plant.

Further project parameters, including its timeframes, have yet to be disclosed.
