Authorities in Sverdlovsk region and state corporation Rosatom intend to set up a high-technology cluster, regional officials report.
The cluster is reportedly to be set at premises of chemical machinery factory Electrokhimpribor in the town of Lesnoy.
Among other cluster participants are the Urals branch of the Russian Academy of Science, Automatics, Urals Electrochemical Factory and NIIMASH, the officials said.
Under plans, the cluster is to produce energy machines based on solid oxide fuel cells.
Timeframes for the project have yet to be disclosed.
