Chinese Heng Xing to build energy-saving lamps plant in Birobidzhan

Chinese company Heng Xing intends to build a complex to produce energy-saving light equipment in the Jewish Autonomous Region, news agency RIA Novosti reports.

Investment in the project has yet to be disclosed.

The plant, to be located in the city of Birobidzhan, is reportedly to create 300 new jobs.

Construction is scheduled to be carried out in three stages. Under plans, the first launch complex is to be put into commission by 2012, the second – by 2015, and the third – by 2018.
