Festival “Rukami”

The venues for regional festivals of the STI Rukami Circle Movement festivals in 2020 were determined. Large-scale festivals will be held in 15 Russian cities, aimed at attracting the attention of young people to technological creativity and the development of the Circle movement in the regions.

According to the decision of the tender committee, the right to hold Rukami festivals received: Abakan, Belgorod, Veliky Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Krasnoyarsk, Kursk, Petrozavodsk, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Tambov, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk and Yakutsk . A series of festivals starts in April in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In total, applications from 35 regions were received for the competition: from Kaliningrad to Komsomolsk-on-Amur. To participate in the selection, the future venue was to offer a festival program, a list of 100 potential participants, conduct preliminary negotiations with regional administrations, partners and sponsors, as well as prepare a plan for the further development of the technology enthusiast community in the region.
