The autonomous non-profit organization Agency of Strategic Initiatives in Promoting New Projects (ASI) and the Russian Venture Company (RVC) have signed a Memorandum on cooperation and interaction in realizing investment projects and initiatives, RVC reports.
The document was reportedly signed by Andrey Nikitin, the director general of ASI, and Igor Agamirzyan, the head of RVC, at the 10th International Investment Forum Sochi-2011. The Memorandum signing ceremony was attended by Vladimir Putin, the RF Prime-Minister.
The goal of the agreement is the joint support of socially significant entrepreneurial projects and initiatives, creation of favorable conditions for entrepreneurship activity, encouraging professional mobility and professional staff support.
By signing the Memorandum, the parties have agreed to cooperate in the following directions: development of social and professional mobility of young professionals and teams working in the medium entrepreneurship sector; development of management competency in Russian companies in the field of innovation and technological projects management; supporting promotion and realization of unique business-projects; improving entrepreneurial climate; identification and overcoming existing barriers to medium entrepreneurship development; spreading the best practices of supporting entrepreneurship in the regions of Russian Federation.
The Agency of Strategic Initiatives in Promoting New Projects was founded by the RF Government in order to support socially significant projects and initiatives of medium entrepreneurship, encouraging professional mobility and support of professional teams in the social sector.
The Agency works in three main directions: “The New Business” for supporting young talented entrepreneurs; “The Young Professionals” for encouraging professional mobility in the ways, such as creation of professional licensing systems, supporting professional associations, updating standards for professional qualification; “The Social Projects” to support social initiatives in the ways, such as promotion of social institutions development projects, including socially-oriented non-profit organizations, supporting young professional teams working in social institutions through assisting in organizing internships and spreading the best practices of social institutions development in the Russian regions.
