Eldorado’s $4.7m Far East expansion plan

Russia’s largest electronics and house appliances retailer Eldorado has announced plans to invest $4.7m opening new stores in Far East regions.

Under plans, by the end of 2010 the company is to open five stores with total area of 12,000 square meters.

The stores are to be opened in Blagoveschensk in Amur region, Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Khabarovsk region, Birobidzhan in Yevreyskaya Autonomous Region, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in Kamchatka region and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in Sakhalin region, the firm said.
