Holiday to open hypermarkets instead of ALPI stores

Novosibirsk retailer Holiday has announced plans to open four hypermarkets in Kemerovo region instead of stores, owned by bankrupt Krasnoyarsk chain ALPI.

Investment in the project has yet to be disclosed.

Holiday has reportedly signed rent contracts for four large retail places in malls in Kemerovo, Belov, Andzhero-Sudzhensk and Mariinsk.

Total retail area of the hypermarkets is 15,000 square meters, the firm said.
