Sverdlovsk region eyes $107m agricultural market complex

A $107m modern agricultural market complex, to be named Perviy Narodniy (First People’s), is to be built in Sverdlovsk region, regional officials report.

The complex is reportedly to be located along Ekaterinburg – Tyumen highway, 19 kilometers outside Ekaterinburg.

Under the project, the complex is to include four terminals – logistics center, wholesale trade and production complex, retail zone and additional buildings and facilities.

Specifically, the complex is to provide services on processing of rejected merchandise, renting of cargo transport, as well as to have a café and hotel.

Timeframes for the project have yet to be disclosed.
