Authorities in Saratov region have announced plans to sell at an auction mansion of the region’s ex-governor Dmitry Ayatskov, news agency RIA Novosti reports.

The authorities reportedly expect to raise up to $3.4m from selling the building.

The 1,692-square-meter house with a two-hectare yard is located at an ecologically friendly city site near Kumysnaya Polyana park.

Under plans, the raised are to be used to build a kindergarten.
