Authorities of Karachayevo-Cherkessia has adopted a $8.2m mortgage support program between now and 2013, regional officials said.

As of total volume of funding $515,881 is received from the Republic budget, $6.1m is funded by credit companies and $1.5m is to come from population, sources report.

Under the program, it is planned to grant $6.1m mortgage loans and improve housing conditions of 174 households.
