The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (Bortnik Fund) has set up an official representation in the Tomsk region
The Bortnik Fund is a state-owned non-profit organization, one of the three state scientific funds. 1.5% of federal budget funds are allocated annually for scientific purposes to this foundation. In 2006 this figure amounted to $44.2m. The representative offices of the Foundation are in 29 regions of Russia.
