Lenta to open two hypermarkets in N. Novgorod

Saint Petersburg-based retail chain Lenta plans to open two hypermarkets in Nizhny Novgorod in November 2007. Investment in construction of one store amounts to $20m, company´s press office reports.

One of the Lenta hypermarkets is being constructed in Moscow Highway Street in the lower part of the city while the other is being built in Rodionova Street in the upper part of the city.

Lenta hypermarkets operate in retail, wholesale (Cash&Carry) and discounter formats. All shops are open 24 hours a day.
