Top-Kniga to invest over $7 on retail distribution

Novosibirsk-based books and stationery chain Top-Kniga says in 2008 it plans to invest over $7m in developing its retail distribution network and entering a multitude of cities across Russia, Interfax-Sibir reports.

Top-Kniga intends to open 143 new book stores in 98 Russias cities.

Our shops will be opened in cities where local population exceeds 50,000. The minimum investment we are planning for is $7.2m but we are ready to invest $8.4m, the company spokesman reported.
