Novosibirsk registers 11% increase in residential housing in 2007

In 2007 Novosibirsk saw 918,400 square meters of residential real estate commissioned, up 11% from 2006.

The share of capital construction was 76.6% or 703,300 square and individual construction was 23.4% or 215,180 square meters.

The percentage of brick buildings was 45%, of monolith buildings, 21.1%, frame-type buildings, 17.1% and from ready-made panels, 16.2%. Development was mostly concentrated in Oktyabrsky, Leninsky and Zayeltsovsky city districts.
