Russian Center for PVC processing in the NN region

The regional government announced a tender regarding the creation of a PVC processing center.



As a result of the announced tender, the regional Ministry of Investment Policy will clinch a state contract for the initial (maximum) value of 2,650,000 rubles. The source of financing will be the regional budget.



The initial analysis of the project's technical and economic feasibility will concern the possibility of creation a chemical cluster in view of the regional governments plans to establish PVC resin producing factory in the region with production capacities of 330,000 tones of resin per year.



In May the Moscow-based company so named R&D Planning and Surveying Institute for the Citys Ecology started evaluating the impact on the environment of the potential industrial cluster.



According to Sibur Ltd. who is interested in the project, after the receipt of all approval and authorizations, the company will make its final decision about the construction of the PVC cluster in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
