Japanese firm eyes NN sites

Experts from Japanese corporation Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) have been examining potential sites in Doskino, Balakhna district of Nizhny Novgorod, where the firm plans to build an multi-function logistic center.

In Nizhny Novgorod the firm was shown around the bridge infrastructure and the potential City-Strelka building site. Afterwards the firm's delegation met with Deputy Governor Vladimir Ivanov to discuss plans further.

On May 22nd another delegation of representatives from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) arrived in the Nizhny Novgorod region to discuss their potential cooperation in building a new steam and gas station in the region. MHI said it was prepared to consider part or full investment into the plant and would provide managers for the running of the project.
