MMK net profit up 30% to $1.393bn for first 9 months.

During the period January-September 2007 Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works’ profit according to US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) stood at $1.393bn, which is up 30.31% on the same period of 2006 ($1.069bn).

The report published on the LSE says that the profit for the accounting period amounts to $6.15bn (+32,31%) while EBITDA stands at $1.821bn (+25,85%).
