South-Yakutia Electrical’s $2.3m investment posted

South-Yakutia Electrical Grid has announced the launch of its $2.3m investment program for 2009, Interfax reported today, citing company sources.

According to deputy CEO Viktor Fogel, under the program the firm will continue upgrades at its automated computerized metering system for electricity sales.

Specifically, the company is to install 600 metering devices this year, Mr. Fogel said.
