Construction of the Sakhalin Khabarovsk Vladivostok gas pipeline will be completed in late 2011, Gazprom said today.

According to company president Alexei Miller, the projected capacity of the gas pipeline is 30 billion cu. m of gas.

The pipeline will reportedly help supply gas to most consumers in Khabarovsk, Primorsky, Evreiskaya and Sakhalin regions.

Mid-term, gas will be supplied from the Sakhalin-1 gas and oil project operated by Exxon Neftegas, the Gazprom president said.
