Omskneftekhimproject scoops $541m refinery tender

Omsk design institute Omskneftekhimproject has won a $541m tender to carry out the design stage of a project to build an oil refinery in Primorsky Krai in Russia's far east.

The other bidders at the tender, run by oil giant Rosneft, were not disclosed.

The $15.3bn refinery, with projected annual capacity of 20 million tons of oil, is scheduled to be put into commission in 2013.
