Magnezit opens $40m brick plant

Chelyabinsk region-based Magnezit Group has put a new $40m clinker brick factory into production, the company announced today.

The company said production capacity at the new plant, located in Satka, Chelyabinsk region, would be 50 tons per year.

Equipment for the new complex was supplied by a host of international manufacturers, including Austrian firms Hosocawa Alpina, Hosocawa Bepex, RCE / Maerz.

Clinker bricks are used in metallurgy.
