Pump manufacturer Alnas and oilfield equipment maintainer Neftserviskholding have concluded an agreement to set up joint venture, SPO-Alnas, which is to implement a whole range of operations on
oilfield service in the Perm region. This joint venture is on a parity basis. The first stages will include the purchase of new technological equipment which will allow for complex maintenance of mechanical well stock. This new company is expected to serve around 1,500 oil wells. The investment in this new joint venture have not been disclosed so far. Alnas's sales exceeded $300m in 2007.
