ALROSA buys three diamond deposits in Yakutia for $78.5m

Diamond mining company ALROSA has purchased three diamond deposits in the Republic of Yakutia for $78.5m, the company reports.

The company has reportedly bought deposits Ruchey Gusiniy, Ebelyakh and Dalnyaya at an auction, held by the federal subsurface management agency Rosnedra.

The total reserves at the three deposits are estimated at 42 million carat.
