Chelyabinskregiongaz anti-trust fine is $6.8m

14 Aug '08
Following a decision made by the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Chelyabinsk-based gas supplier Chelyabinskregiongaz is to pay a $6.8m penalty for breaking anti-trust legislation, sources in the antimonopoly service report.

The fine equaling 1% of the company's last year revenue has been imposed after a complaint was filed by a local furniture manufacturer, Mebelbit, that was accusing Chelyabinskregiongaz of obtruding upon it unfair terms of gas sale and transportation.
