Net profit at Urals-Potassium grew by 2.3 times in 2007 to $125m, up from around $50m the year before, the company reports.
revenue rose by 32.3% to $896m, operational profit by 54.5% to $404.9m. The firm also increased potassium mining by 27%.
Urals-Potassium exploit the second largest supplies in the world of potassium magnate, at the Berkhne-Kamsk deposits. It delivers the minerals to China, India, Brazil and Malaysia.
