German Bentec to launch $28m drilling equipment plant

German firm Bentec Drilling & Oilfield Systems has announced plans to launch a $28m plant to produce drilling equipment in Tyumen region.

Under the project, the company has reportedly completely overhauled 11 workshops at Tyumen Motor Building Plant and installed new European equipment.

The plant is scheduled to start operating in late 2009 – early 2010.
